A chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bauchi State, Ali Saidu, has expressed optimism that General Mohammed Buhari (rtd), one of the party’s presidential aspirants, will rescue Nigerians from the current misrule of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) if voted into power in 2015.
Saidu stated this at the weekend at an occasion organised by Buhari’s supporters, under the auspices of Nigeria Solution Network for Buhari 2015, Bauchi State chapter.
He said Buhari’s decision to contest the presidential election was informed by the need to rescue Nigerians from the current misrule of PDP.
He stressed that the former General is not deterred in his determination to contest the presidential slot against any aspirant, regardless of economic and political status, saying Nigerians need urgent change of governance.
Saidu noted that if Buhari is voted into power under the APC, Nigeria would witness tremendous development, being a man of the masses, justified by his leadership dynamism.
“It’s high time for Nigerians to heave a sigh of relief from the misrule of the PDP, which has succeeded in creating permanent poverty, hunger and starvation in the country without substantial and concrete evidence to show, with a view to vote Buhari” he said.
