Egyptian referee Grisha Ghead being challenged by Super Eagles players at the 2013 AFCON in South Africa.
In the same vein, Cameroonian Aboubakar Alim Konate has been named as the match commissioner, just as Moroccan Naciri Abdelali will be the security officer for the game.
CAF also stated that the crucial game will kick off at 3.30pm Congo time, which will be 2.30pm in Nigeria.
Nigeria are the defending champions of the competition after beating Burkina Faso 1-0 in the final of the last edition hosted by South Africa.
Nigeria have so far bagged four points from four games in the ongoing qualifiers to place third in the group behind South Africa and Congo who are placed first and second respectively.
Meanwhile, it would be recalled that referee Ghead was in charge of the Nigeria vs Zambia Group C second round game on 25 January, 2013.
He was the one that awarded a controversial 86th minute penalty to Zambia who were the defending champions then.
The resultant penalty saw Zambia equalized and ended the tie in a 1-1 draw.
A top official of CAF was quoted during the competition that CAF referee committee was totally dissatisfied with Ghead’s mishandling of the match and as a result suspended the Egyptian from the 2013 nations cup.
